Docx Macro Templates
This guide provides a walkthrough of the Docx Macro Templates feature, covering template management, creation, and editing.
Template Management Dashboard
This screen allows users to view and manage existing Docx Macro Templates.
a. Setup Section: Central access point for system configuration.
b. Docx Macro Templates Subsection
Selected under Setup, this subsection is used to manage templates that automate document generation using macros.
c. Add Button
Clicking the Add button at the top-right opens the template editor interface .
Template Editor Interface
This screen appears after clicking "Add" and is used to create or edit a Docx Macro Template.
Template Fields
- Name: Enter a descriptive name for the template.
- File Name: Specify the output file name.
Document Editor Tabs
Includes standard editing tabs:
- Home
- Insert
- Page Layout
- References
- Mail Merge
- View
Formatting Tools
Users can format the template using:
- Font selection (e.g., Calibri)
- Font size (e.g., 11)
- Bold, Italic, Underline
- Paragraph alignment
- Rulers for layout precision
Main Content Area
A blank canvas is provided for designing the template content.
d. Actions Column – Folder Icon
The folder icon in the Actions column allows users to interact with template files—viewing, downloading, or organizing them.
Macro Template Content Example
This screen shows a sample document named TestDevices.docx being edited within the template editor.
Table Structure
The document includes a table with the following columns:

- IMEI
- Assigned On
- Delivery Date
- Un-Assigned On
